Last updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Meridia ("the Service"), owned and operated by From One Source, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Meridia is an AI-powered diagnostic assistant tool designed to support Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners and students with pattern differentiation and acupuncture point selection. The Service is intended as a clinical support tool only.

3. Professional Use Only

The Service is intended for use by Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners and students. By using Meridia, you represent that you are a TCM practitioner or a student currently enrolled in a TCM program.

4. Not Medical Advice

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information provided by Meridia is for educational and informational purposes only. The Service is designed to assist practitioners in their clinical reasoning, not to replace professional judgment.

All diagnostic and treatment decisions remain the sole responsibility of the practitioner. You should always verify AI-generated suggestions against classical texts, your clinical training, and the specific needs of each patient.

5. Patient Privacy & PHI

Do not enter Protected Health Information (PHI) into the Service. This includes but is not limited to: patient names, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, or any other identifying information.

Only anonymized clinical observations should be entered. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy regulations.

6. Limitations of AI

The AI system has limitations including but not limited to:

  • Training data may have gaps in specialized or lineage-specific TCM knowledge
  • Classical text translations vary; AI understanding may differ from your training
  • Western medical biases may occasionally conflict with pure TCM frameworks
  • Regional variations and oral traditions may be underrepresented

7. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

8. Subscription & Billing

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridia and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
